Appeal -Amendment in memorandum of appeal - Contract between parties for the construction of civil work of Pressure Shafts and Power House Complex - Arbitrator awarding Rs. 17,81,25,152/- in favour of the respondent - Application for setting aside the award - Application rejected by trial court - appellant making an application before the High Court seeking amendment to the memorandum of arbitration appeal - Application dismissed by Single Judge dismissed the application for amendment in the memorandum of arbitration appeal - Amendment in the memorandum of appeal to raise additional/new grounds can not be permitted - High Court committed no error in rejecting the appellant's application for addition of new grounds in the memorandum of arbitration appeal - Grounds sought to be added were not originally raised in the arbitration petition for setting aside the award - No illegality in the impugned orders - Appeal dismissed.
