Conviction and sentence - Accused fired one shot on right temple of deceased another shot on neck of deceased in presence of PW-4 - Trial Court convicted - Awarded sentence of imprisonment for life with fine - High Court confirmed conviction - Concluded- Sufficient evidence - Accused had committed offence - Appeal - Delay in filing FIR of about 20 days - Truth in version given by PW-4 - Injuries upon accused - Prima facie appear self inflicted - Presence of - Dark burn marks - Around the wound shows - Bullet injury inflicted from very close distance - Such burn marks would not have been - If he had been running away - Pistol was recovered from a public place - But the place could not easily located by anyone - Accused purchased pistol - Used in offence - Intimation regard to sale of pistol given by seller to licensing authority - Prosecution proved beyond doubt - Accused not only owner of pistol -also having possession thereof - Conviction order confirmed - Appeal dismissed.
