The Hindu Marriage Act, 1955  - Section 13-B , Constitution of India, 1950  - Article 142

Conversion of divorce proceedings into application under section 13-B - Allowed - Parties fighting in the courts a large number of cases since long including a petition for annulment of marriage - Settled amicably and decided to put a quietus to the litigation - Moved an application under section 13-B stating that the marriage has broken down irretrievably and there is no chance of their living together - In exercise of its powers U/Article 142, marriage allowed to be dissolved with mutual consent under section 13-B in the interest of then parties - All cases pending between the in different courts ordered to be closed as infructuous.
