Wife remarried without divorce - Second marriage is illegal but not immoral - Court is competent to grant alimony to wife if a decree declaring second marriage as null and void is passed.

The Hindu Marriage Act, 1955  - Section 25 , Section 11 , Section 5

Wife remarried without divorce from previous husband - Second marriage declared null and void by decree of divorce by Court - Court is competent to grant maintenance under Section 25 - Court is also competent to grant alimony when decree regarding restitution of conjugal rights, judicial separation or annulment of marriage is passed.
