Alimony - Matrimonial proceedings - Grant of interim maintenance of Rs. 1000/- p.m. by Trial Court - Revision against - High Court enhanced interim maintenance to Rs. 3,500/- p.m. - Appeal against order of High Court - Respondent did not appear before Supreme Court to contest the appeal - Matter pending for more than 2 years - Interim maintenance allowed by trial Court still continuing - Trial Court is directed to dispose of aforesaid suit as expeditiously as possible - Interim order passed by High Court shall continue during pendency of suit.
