Composite negligence and contributory negligence - Two vehicles involved in accident - One of the drivers Claiming compensation from the other driver alleging negligence - The other driver denying negligence and claiming that the injured claimant himself was negligent, where the injured claimant was solely or party responsible for the accident the extent of his responsibility is his contributory negligence - Where the injured is himself partly liable, the principle of 'composite negligence' will not apply.
