Indian Penal Code,1860  - Section 498-A , Section 406

Quashing of Criminal proceedings - Complaint filed by wife under Section 498-A and 406 against husband and in law's (mother-in law and father-in-law) - Complaint did not mention which accused committed what offence - Major allegations were against husband with only minor reference to the in-laws - Further no mention what is the exact role played by the in-law's - Considering the fact that husband is already dead complaint against in laws quashed.

The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973  - Section 200

Complaint Case - In order to lodge a proper Complaint mere mention of the sections and their language is not sufficient - What is required to be brought to the notice of the Court is the particular of the offence committed by each and every accused and the role played by each and every accused in committing of the offence.
