Dowry death - Reduction of sentence - Accused convicted under Section 304B Indian Penal Code and sentenced to 7 years RI - Incident 14 years old - Prayer for reduction sentence rejected - Held - The minimum sentence provided under law for an offence under Section 304B of Indian Penal Code is 7 years of rigorous imprisonment and that is the sentence awarded by the High Court - Question of reduction of sentence does not arise.
