Award - Appeal against - Deceased aged about 46 years - Sole bread winner of family - Tribunal took income of deceased at Rs. 15,000/-p.m. applied multiplier of 12 and awarded Rs. 22,10,000/- finally - On appeal High Court reduced the same to Rs. 13,90,000/- with interest at 7.5% p.a. - Deceased died at an early age of 46 years - Had 12 more years of service - Would have got promotions, resulting in hike in his pay and emoluments - Potential earning capacity of deceased fixed at Rs. 30,000/- p.m. - One-third portion of income deducted towards personal expenses - Dependancy benefit of claimants would be Rs. 20,000/- p.m. - Multiplier applicable would be 12 - Loss of dependency fixed at Rs. 28,80,000/- Claimants also entitled to Rs 50,000/- as conventional amount as granted by Tribunal - Claimants held entitled to a total compensation of Rs. 29,30,000/- with interest at 7.5% p.a.
